Hacked AC
I've been meaning to build one of these for some time now:
It's a fan that has cold water running through copper tubing to cool the air lower than the ambient room temperaure. It is said that one of these bad boys will cool a room to a comfortable temp in less than 15 minutes. Would have been quite useful during the heat wave that the Midwest went through recently. Did you know that your Grandpa had one of these rigged up in his basement for years. He made it himself in the mid '90's. His version of air conditioning. Grandma had it removed - so it is now "history"...but your grandpa was quite a genius!
