It looks like it is straight out of a wasteland anime series.



The way it moves makes every wet dream about military hardware that I've ever had come true. That plus the fact that it is unmanned makes my brain quiver even more. It's as if it were a toy.

It is a prototype multipurpose vehicle from DARPA/NREC that is being tested currently as a recon vehicle. There are two videos that sum it up quite nicely, the first video is a short and sweet exhibition set to heavy rock music, the second video is a 17 minute demonstration and explanation. I would have loved to embedded them here, but they are not embeddable at present.



Even so, the way this machine looks gets me all riled up. I really want to play with it. Maybe I'll play with it in my own way...
