Just, wow.

Amazingly touching little YTMND, I was blown away by this simple story:

Animal Crossing

If you have never played the game, it is important to note that the game Is a continuous world, when you are gone, the game world keeps going (not literally, but it does record how much time has passed since you played last, and makes the world act accordingly when you boot that game again). Multiple users can all exist in the same little town, and interact with each other asynchronously.

I literally had to will myself to not cry here at work when I saw this.
