wall-e
The "Final Trailer" is up for wall-e.I don't remember the last time that I was this excited about a movie. Probably when the LOTR movies were coming out. Or perhaps the Matrix.
Ratatouille was unbeleivably fantastic. I went in to that film thinking that it would be passable, and I was blown away. Similarly with Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. All great. Pixar has become, in my mind, one of the Juggernauts of accessible comedy.
Thus I am eagerly anticipating wall-e's release. It looks like one of the funniest things I have ever seen. (plus it doesn't hurt that it is set in my favorite genre) I think people will be imitating wall-e's greeting for a long time to come.
Comments:
i cannot wait to see this..
I tried so hard to like Cars, but then I hated Nascar a whole bunch. It was challenging, but the animation was still sweet.
I still haven't seen Cars. I think that it is next up in my Netflix queue, actually. I was less than fascinated when it came out, and the rampant merchandising accompanying it has dulled my taste for it even more. At this point it will have to be amazingly fantastic to even rank "pretty good" in my book.
